Good Day! I have been in the real estate business for 45 years! Over 43 years ago I sold my first restaurant. Since that time, I have specialized in a market niche of hospitality brokerage including restaurants, coffee shops, franchises, pubs, and hotels. To date, I have sold over 450 businesses and properties. The majority of these sales were in Calgary, Alberta, however I have also represented and sold businesses in other Alberta locations such as Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lloydminster, Edmonton, and Lethbridge, as well as Toronto, Ontario. I visit 4 or 5 facilities a day, which gives me a good overview of what’s happening in the local restaurant scene.

I have been called upon to provide evaluations of hospitality related businesses for court purposes. For over five years I wrote a monthly column in the Calgary Real Estate News called “Restaurant Ramblings”. This column provided readers the latest information in the hospitality scene including which facilities have changed hands or are being expanded, which new concepts are coming to town and general news about the players in the industry. I now look forward to sharing this information through frequent Blogs on my new website!
